About Avy Energy
Grounded energy work. Sovereign healing. Community-led support.
Avy Energy was founded in August 2021 by April Young, with the incredible support of her family. What began as a personal devotion to understanding energy, embodiment, and self-trust has grown into a living practice and community space rooted in sovereignty, consent, and grounded connection.
At its heart, Avy Energy exists to offer supportive spaces where people can reconnect with themselves. Without pressure, hierarchy, or the expectation to be anything other than where and remember who they are.
Why Avy Energy Exists
In a world where many healing and spiritual spaces unintentionally take power away from the individual,
Avy Energy was created as a return point to a place where your inner knowing leads.
This work grew from witnessing how often people are told:
- what their energy means
- how they should heal
- or who they need to become
Avy Energy offers something different.
Here, healing is not something done to you.
It’s something you participate in, at your own pace, & in your own way.
The intention is simple but profound:
to create spaces that support self-trust, nervous system safety, and embodied presence, rather than dependency or performance.
How We Work
Avy Energy is grounded in facilitation, not fixing.
April’s role is to hold space, offer reflection, and support awareness. She does not to override your intuition or claim authority over your healing process.

There is no pressure to share, perform, or arrive with prior experience.

About April
April Young is the founder and facilitator behind Avy Energy.
She works with a range of energy healing modalities, including Usui Reiki, Antojai Quantum Reiki, and SRT, alongside a wide spectrum of experiential tools gathered through lived practice and continued study.
More importantly, April approaches this work as a human first.
She believes that true healing spaces are built on:

As a parent, partner, and community member based in Grande Prairie, Alberta, April is deeply committed to creating spaces that are grounded, accessible, and respectful of real life.
She doesn’t hold keys for others, she walks alongside.
