SENSE: The Trees Chatter

The world isn’t static; it’s talking. SENSE is an adventurous, on-location gathering designed to expand your capacity for relational awareness with the living landscape around you. By stepping out of the everyday human noise, we practice shifting our sensory perception to hear, track, and converse with the environment—from the ancient root networks to the architecture of the spaces we inhabit.

This space is built for the curious explorer and holds zero pressure; there is no heavy grid work or intense clearing required of you. Your body naturally knows how to navigate these environments, and the field is held so that you only open your awareness to the exact level of volume your nervous system can safely handle and integrate. You show up ready to explore; you leave in deep conversation with the world.

July Destination: The Whispering Canopy // South Bear Creek Park Meeting Location: South Bear Creek Park (Off 63rd Ave & 99a Street, Grande Prairie) This month, we are heading into the trails of South Bear Creek to connect directly with the intelligence of the location. We will practice exploring the language of the trees, learning how to listen to the cross-chatter of the forest and drop our pace to match the slower heartbeat of the woods. We will also be bringing our curiosity on the trail. Practicing how to observe and read varied patterns in the living field without absorbing them.

Together we will:
•Begin with a quick somatic and energetic boundary drop to clear any static of the day and open your field.
•Attune to the living field around us
•Active exploration. You are given a specific focus or “key” to interact with the landscape, trees, or structures while I hold the container.
•We gather back together to anchor our findings, share what the living field communicated, and lock the integration into our physical bodies.
•Maybe a quick dance party to shake off any excess and prepare to leave steady & clean.
•Close the field

What to Bring:
Comfortable footwear for walking trails, water, weather-appropriate layers, and a notebook if you like to anchor your insights in writing.
